Walking It Into the Body
Field notes from the integration arena.
Framing
Does a concept I can only argue become one I own when I move as if it were already true?
- Method
- Take "stance is more causative than technique" out of the notebook and into the morning miles. Not thinking about it: walking from it, and watching what changes in the day that follows.
- Signal
- The day's first decision is made from the stance, not reasoned into it.
A concept I can only argue is a concept I don’t yet own. So I walk it.
Check-ins
The posture I started from set the whole day's tone before a single task.
First morning. The walk didn’t teach me the idea. It let the idea teach me: the stance I began from was already deciding the shape of the day before any task arrived.
